Tortricidaeday is a national holiday built solely on coincidence.  Upon posting a torticid moth on June 25, 2003, I realized I had done the same on the previous June 25th.  Since some holidays exist for the most asinine reasons, I thought this one would fit right in.  I live in constant fear of neglecting to post a tortricid on a future June 25th, but am assuaged by the fact that few would notice...
